Who we are
Two single mothers who love everything fashion! We met at work seven years ago and bonded while we were both going through difficult divorces. We held each other up while the world seemed to crash around us and came out stronger on the other side. Through it all we leaned on retail therapy, and in darker times when we needed to sell some of our purchases we couldn’t quite find a resell space to which we felt comfortable letting go of our pieces. This is where the idea for LuxieFind was born.
Our Mission
To deliver a fair and reasonable consignment store for women like us! We want LuxieFind to be the place where you sell and shop with confidence, knowing that we do our absolute best to provide competitive commissions for sellers and fair market prices for our buyers.
Our Vision
We want LuxieFind to feel like you stepped into a virtual high end department store or a luxury boutique, but more than that we see LuxieFind as a lifestyle page. Our blog will bring you fashion stories, brand highlights, useful tips, and fashion event listings. We hope you love it as much as we do, and are open to your requests of what you want to see from us in the future!

Authentication Process
Our inhouse authenticator inspects each item meticulously and puts each item through a rigorous inspection process before she certifies them as authentic or the item will be turned away. She has training and expertise in all major brands and prior to joining our team was a fashion stylist and blogger in Miami and Europe. She will also be contributing to our blog, so look out for her articles soon!
How We Rate Our Item Condition
Most of the items in our starting inventory were procured from women who love to shop and often either wore the pieces once or not at all. Some of the items may have never been worn, but had the tags cut off. Below is the key to item conditions we assigned.
NWT - Item that has never been used with original tags intact.
New Without Tags - Item has never been used but the tags were removed.
Gently Pre-Loved - Item has been worn once or twice in excellent condition.
Pre-Loved - Item has been worn several times but is still in a great condition.

Hello everyone! I'm Shani. I'm an Orthopedic surgeon and spent most of my adult life wearing scrubs. Being that my colleagues and mentors were predominantly male, I had little fashion reference in my life, nor was it a top priority for me, since the majority of my time was spent in the operating room. I did always admire well put together women and how fabulous they looked, but I had so little time for myself, the fact that this was missing from my life never came up on my radar. When I met Marina, my wardrobe was unimpressive to the point where she asked me to buy a dress for a work function. I did it reluctantly, thinking there was nothing wrong with what I already had. All night at the event I received compliment after compliment on my new dress and I realized maybe there’s more to clothes than scrubs and monotone clothing. We went through some challenging times together, but mutual support and retail therapy helped! Marina opened my eyes to a whole new world of high end retailers and boutiques. Now, I can truly appreciate style, design and quality craftsmanship. She created a monster!❤

Hi everyone, I’m Marina. I was born in Ukraine but spent most of my life in New York. It was a stark change from the drab colors of communist USSR to be plunged into the bright lights of New York City, but I welcomed the change. At 14 instead of taking my first job at a fast food restaurant, I found a job for a textile manufacturer and that’s where it all began. I went on to work for some of the most famous names in the fashion world and even got to pull looks for red carpets and fashion magazine stories. I appreciate fashion not for status, but for its craftsmanship and unique design. I am so excited to start this journey with my best friend Shani and hope to share with you some beautiful pre-loved things that need a new home.
